Drinking and Boating

Operating a boat while intoxicated by alcohol is illegal throughout Canada, and carries the same penalties as drinking and driving a car.

In Ontario, no one is allowed to consume alcohol while on a pleasure craft, unless it is anchored and meets certain minimum requirements (including a permanent onboard toilet facility).

Drink water on the water, and save your beer for the pier!
